In a time of division in our society seeing an overwhelming sign of UNITY is refreshing. Ignite Church at Lakewood is that refreshing breath of FRESH AIR. The people of Lakewood Church, founded in 1998 by Cecil W. and Lori Todd, voted to UNITE with and join a new church start, Ignite Church, founded by Rob and Rebecca Barringer in 2020. The two bodies have come together to form Ignite Church at Lakewood. It is clear to see that we are truly BETTER TOGETHER and we are trusting God for big things in our community. Ignite Church at Lakewood will focus on building the body of Christ so we can have the greatest impact on our community and our world. We believe God is moving powerfully in Stone County and we are anxious to join Him in this work. Ignite Church at Lakewood believes in partnering with the community and other churches in the community to see the name of Jesus Christ lifted up.
If you are looking for a church to call home, we invite you to join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30. We offer modern worship music, powerful messages, and an opportunity to connect to the Church through our Growth Track. We will also be offering impactful teaching for our children through our IGNITEKIDS Children’s Ministry. So, come as you are and join us in this new Adventure where we believe we are called to help people Find God, Know Freedom, Discover their Purpose, and Make a Difference!
Meet our pastor
Pastor Rob Barringer, and his wife, Rebecca, are the founders of Ignite Church. They were married in 1996 and have been in ministry together since 1997. Ten of those years were spent in the Reeds Spring area. In 2018, the Barringer family left the area to minister in a new place, but God continued to burden their hearts for the people of Stone County. After much prayer and discernment, Rob and Rebecca have returned to start a new thing with Ignite Church. They will reside in the area with their daughter, Riley. They also have a grown son, Sam, who resides in Springfield. In short, this community is their home and their desire is for Ignite to minister to and serve this community in ways that only God can do!

IGNITEKIDS
Children's Ministry
We love kids at Ignite Church! IGNITEKIDS Children's Ministry meets every Sunday morning during the regular service time. Children from birth to 6th grade are invited to participate in a service just for them.
